Program information
Deirdre's House may offer support and educational groups for current clients and non-offending caregivers, including programs available in English and Spanish.
Understanding the CAC model
A Child Advocacy Center brings the professionals involved in responding to suspected child abuse together around the needs of the child and family. This coordinated approach helps reduce confusion, unnecessary repetition, and the burden of navigating multiple systems alone.
Without a coordinated Child Advocacy Center, a child and family may need to navigate several agencies, locations, and professionals separately. With a CAC, the professionals involved coordinate their work around the child and family.
